Our church is re-opened as of Easter Sunday, 2021. Worship services are in-person and livestreamed.

Bear Necessities

The Bear Necessities Personal Care Pantry opened its doors on September 21, 2013 to fill a need it saw as being unmet.

The Pantry is open the 3rd Saturday of each month from 10am until noon. The list of organizations, other area churches and community donors who support Bear Necessities continues to grow. However, the need is great, and continued donations are greatly appreciated.

Families are eligible to receive products from the pantry by showing their current LINK card. Each family receives the following items, which are not able to be purchased with the LINK card:

Additionally, the following items are available upon request: shaving cream, deodorant, toothbrushes and feminine hygiene products.

Donations of any of the listed items, as well as monetary donations to support the pantry, may be made simply by dropping the items off at the church Tuesday through Thursday between 9am and 1pm,  before Sunday morning worship, or mail donations to the church office.

Our entire congregation has played a role in bringing this wonderful ministry to life: the dedicated group of committee volunteers; the 25-plus who attended the training sessions before it opened; and all who have donated, and continue to donate, items and money to help stock the shelves.

We will continue to share the stories of the lives we are touching through this ministry.
